Donatas Motiejunas could be sliding into Rockets' starting lineup

Houston Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas was discussed by Patrick Beverley as a potential candidate to move into the starting lineup.

What It Means:

Going small did not work out for the Rockets whatsoever, so a change makes sense. While the Golden State Warriors are known for their 3-pointers, the Rockets only contested 61.0 percent of the Warriors' two-point shots on Saturday. Motiejunas did not play until the fourth quarter in Game 1, so don't expect big minutes out of him. There will likely be less run for Corey Brewer and Josh Smith.

Motiejunas stayed just inside the top 100 this season with a -1.7 nERD, averaging 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 43.9 percent shooting from the field.
