Nets optimistic Ben Simmons (back) could return by first round of playoffs
The Athletic's Shams Charania reports that the re is optimism inside the Brooklyn Nets' organization that Ben Simmons (back, conditioning) will be able to make his season debut in the first round of the playoffs.
Simmons hasn't played yet this season and is still ramping up his conditioning, but this feels like the closest we've come to an actual return date for the star forward. However, the Nets will need to win their play-in tournament games for Simmons' return to become a factor.
When we last saw Simmons on the court, his production was top notch for fantasy, averaging 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game with the Philadelphia 76ers.
