Darius Garland (back) ruled out Thursday for Cavaliers
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (back) has been ruled out for Thursday versus the Detroit Pistons.
Garland missed five of six games from January 31-February 11 due to back soreness, but he made it back for the Cavaliers' last two games before the break, so this is somewhat concerning. Caris LeVert (foot) will also sit out Thursday, so look for Rajon Rondo to draw the start at point guard and play extended minutes. Brandon Goodwin should also get a boost off Cleveland's bench and there may be more playmaking opportunities for Isaac Okoro and Cedi Osman.
Rondo is numberFire's top point-per-dollar value on Thursday's seven-game slate. He has a $3,900 salary and our models project him for 27.4 FanDuel points over 28.0 minutes.
