Knicks' Kemba Walker sitting out rest of season

New York Knicks point guard Kemba Walker will sit out the remainder of the season.

What It Means:

The Knicks and Walker have come to a mutual agreement that the veteran will work out in preparation for next season. Derrick Rose (ankle) went through a full practice on Wednesday and he could replace Walker in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. Immanuel Quickley and Alec Burks are now in line for larger roles down the stretch.

Kemba averaged 25.6 minutes and 21.9 FanDuel points per game this season while registering a 20.8% usage rate.
