Cody Zeller out for Hornets, Al Jefferson will start
Charlotte Hornets forward/center Cody Zeller (sternum contusion) is out against the Boston Celtics on Monday.
What It Means:
This is a big blow for the Hornets in an important game for their playoff chances. Al Jefferson will get the start, but his minutes should be close to his usual workload. Spencer Hawes will be the one picking up some extra run.
Zeller has a solid 5.9 nERD on the year, ranking 29th in the league. He's averaging 8.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 24.5 minutes per contest for the season. Jefferson checks in at 71st with a 0.4 nERD.
