D'Angelo Russell (shin) unlikely to play Tuesday for Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell (shin) is not expected to play Tuesday versus the Denver Nuggets, per head coach Chris Finch.
Russell is listed as questionable on the injury report, but it looks like he is headed for a third straight absence. Finch said Patrick Beverley (ankle, questionable) is expected to return, meaning Jordan McLaughlin may be headed back to the second unit.
numberFire's models project Beverley for 27.0 minutes and 25.0 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $5,600 salary for the seven-game slate.
