Deandre Ayton (ankle) officially out again Thursday for Suns
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Ayton did not practice on Wednesday and he will miss a second straight game on Thursday. JaVale McGee started in place of Ayton on Monday, but Bismack Biyombo wound up playing more minutes off the bench. Ayton's next opportunity to play will be on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers.
Biyombo played 24.8 minutes off the bench and scored 37.3 FanDuel points on Wednesday. McGee produced 18.6 FanDuel points over 23.2 minutes as the Suns' starting center. The Suns play a Mavericks team on Thursday that is giving up the fifth-most real points per game to the center position this season.
