Sixers' Isaiah Canaan (torn labrum) out for season
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Isaiah Canaan (torn labrum) is out for the season.
It's a really tough blow for Canaan, who surprisingly is second in total points for the team this season. He should be on track for most of his offseason plan after a couple months off. Hollis Thompson, Robert Covington and Nik Stauskas will get more run as a result.
Canaan is 123rd in the league with a -5.2 nERD, averaging 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 3-pointers in 25.5 minutes per game this season. His 36.0 percent shooting average from the field leaves a bit to be desired.
