Spurs without Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tony Parker, Danny Green
San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard, power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, point guard Tony Parker, shooting guard Danny Green and shooting guard Manu Ginobili will all be rested on Friday versus the Denver Nuggets.
The only notable player not on this list is Tim Duncan. Spurs' coach Gregg Popovich hinted on Thursday some rest was coming, so this isn't a surprise. Expect Leonard and the rest of these guys to be back in the lineup on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors. Kyle Anderson will benefit the most without Leonard while Jonathon Simmons should see more minutes, as well.
Our models currently give the Spurs a league-best 31.3 percent chance of winning the NBA championship.
