Atlanta Hawks guard Delon Wright has cleared the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the team announced Saturday.
The Hawks also said that Wright - along with the other players who have cleared protocols, including Sharife Cooper - is expected to join the team in Portland for Monday night's game. It's unclear if there will be conditioning concerns after the long layoff, but either way, it's an important first step.
In 30 games this season, Wright has averaged 3.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 12.8 FanDuel points.
