DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo out Thursday for Kings

Sacramento Kings forward/center DeMarcus Cousins and point guard Rajon Rondo will be rested for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

What It Means:

Head coach George Karl said that he will be resting Cousins on road games this season, and with him also sitting out tonight's home game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, that gives him just one more potential game played this season. He's a cut-candidate for owners in win-now situations in re-draft leagues. With both Cousins and Rondo unavailable tonight, Rudy Gay, Seth Curry and Darren Collison figure to be very busy on offense, while Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein figure to pick up some extra minutes.

Gay figures to make for the best DFS play tonight, as our models project him to finish with 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 3-pointers against the Timberwolves. His -2.1 nERD ranks just inside the top-100.
