Portland Trail Blazers guard Dennis Smith Jr. has cleared the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Smith was placed in protocols 6 days ago, and it seems as though he's already been cleared to return to the team. There isn't yet word on his potential status for Friday night against the Lakers, but that will surely come soon.
In 16 games this season, Smith is averaging 5.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 16.5 FanDuel points.
