John Wall (knee) out for Wizards on Wednesday

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall (knee) is out for Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.

What It Means:

He was walking with a limp and he did not go through warmups. There's a chance Wall gets shut down going forward with the Wizards possibly knocked out of the playoffs tonight. Ramon Sessions figures to get heavy run at the point and is worth a look in a favorable matchup. Garrett Temple should get some added minutes, too.

Wall has a -1.6 nERD, ranking him 90th in the league. He's averaging 19.9 points, 10.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.5 3-pointers per game on 42.4 percent shooting from the field. Our models project Sessions to have 8.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists tonight against the Nets. He ranks 80th with a -0.6 nERD.
