Evan Turner

Evan Turner (eye) could return to Celtics' lineup Friday

Boston Celtics guard/forward Evan Turner (eye) has a "chance" to make it back to the court for Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to head coach Brad Stevens.

What It Means:

Turner has been cleared for light, non-contact shooting, and there's sure to be a few more updates in the intervening days leading up to Friday's tip. With Turner on the sidelines Wednesday night, there will be more minutes available for guys like Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart and perhaps even Tyler Zeller.

Turner ranks 86th with a -1.2 nERD this season. He's averaging 10.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steals on a career-high 51.5 True Shooting Percentage. Smart could make for a solid value play tonight, as our metrics project him to finish with 10.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 3-pointers against the Bucks. His -1.2 nERD ranks 86th in the league.
