Knicks' Derrick Rose (ankle) expected to miss at least 8 weeks
New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose (ankle) is expected to miss at least eight weeks.
Rose underwent successful surgery on his right ankle on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in eight weeks, according to the Knicks. Kemba Walker could continue to start with Rose looking at long-term absence, with Alec Burks and Evan Fournier in line for more opportunities. If Rose is able to return after eight weeks, his first game back could come against the Miami Heat on February 25th.
Rose is averaging 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 23.9 FanDuel points per game this season.
