Gordon Hayward (back) downgraded to out Monday for Hornets
Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Gordon Hayward (low back discomfort) is out for Monday's game versus the Utah Jazz.
What It Means:
Hayward was listed as doubtful earlier in the day. He only made 4-of-13 shots on Sunday while being held under 10 points for a second straight game. In the four games prior, Hayward averaged 27.0 points on 60.3% shooting, so hopefully his first night off of the season will get him back on track. Kelly Oubre is starting in place of Hayward on the second leg of the back-to-back.
numberFire's models project Oubre for 34.2 minutes and 32.6 FanDuel points, and he has a $6,800 salary on Monday's three-game slate.
