Joel Embiid (ankle) questionable Monday for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (right ankle soreness) is listed as questionable to play Monday against the Boston Celtics.
Embiid was listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the New Orleans Pelicans, before it was postponed, due to left ankle soreness. That ankle is apparently fine, but now the other one is causing the big man some problems. Embiid may end up being a game-time call for Monday's 7:30 pm ET tip-off. Andre Drummond (protocols) is out, so the 76ers may be forced to turn to Paul Reed at center on Monday night. They could also go small and play Tobias Harris at the five.
numberFire's models project Embiid for 35.6 minutes and 53.2 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $10,500 salary for the six-game slate. The Celtics are ranked 15th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the center position this season.
