Nerlens Noel doesn't expect to have minutes limit on Friday
Philadelphia 76ers forward/center Nerlens Noel (knee) said he "felt good," in his return from a six-game absence on Tuesday, and he added he believes his minutes limit will be dropped for Friday's game against the New York Knicks.
"It felt good," Noel said. "I just got a little wind under me and a little feel back. I will be alright the next game without restrictions." It sounds like Noel could be back in the starting five his next time out, which would result in Elton Brand returning to the bench.
Noel, whose -2.4 nERD ranks 97th in the NBA, is averaging 11.1 points and 8.0 rebounds in 29.1 minutes per game this year. His 52.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage and 15.0 Total Rebound Rate are both improvements from his rookie numbers.
