Chicago Bulls forward/center Taj Gibson (ribs) will not play on Tuesday versus the Miami Heat.
He was listed as doubtful and is also expected to miss Thursday's game against the Heat. If the Bulls fall out of the playoff race, they may take the cautious approach and continue to hold out Gibson. Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic will both have to step up, but Mirotic is the better option in fantasy.
Gibson is inside the top-50 with a 4.3 nERD on the year, while Mirotic checks in at 68th with a 0.5 nERD. Tonight against the Heat, Mirotic is one of our preferred value plays for DFS and we project him to finish with 14.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 3-pointers.
