Luka Doncic (ankle) questionable Wednesday for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic (ankle) is questionable to play on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Doncic returned from a one-game absence on Tuesday and shot 9-of-21 (3-of-11 3-pointers) for 28 points with 6 boards and 9 assists over 37 minutes. The Mavericks may decide to hold him out on the second leg of the back-to-back, which would likely result in a start for Jalen Brunson. There would also be more opportunities for Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr.
numberFire's models project Luka for 34.7 minutes and 49.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He is leading the NBA with a 36.8% usage rate this season. The Mavericks rank 30th in offensive tempo and are facing a Grizzlies team that ranks 9th, putting them in a significant pace-up spot.
