Portland's CJ McCollum dealing with collapsed lung
Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum is dealing with a collapsed lung, the team announced Tuesday night.
McCollum was originally thought to be dealing with a minor rib injury, which is why he was considered probable to play on Monday. However, he was abruptly downgraded to out shortly before game time, and after going under further evaluation, he is dealing with a much more serious situation. The team says that he will be evaluated further at a later date, but it's unclear when exactly what will be. Tony Snell could remain in a starting role in McCollum's absence.
In 24 games this season, McCollum has averaged 20.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 35.7 FanDuel points.
