D'Angelo Russell (ankle) unlikely to play Wednesday for Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) is not expected to play on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz, per head coach Chris Finch.
Russell is headed for a second straight absence, but Finch said Patrick Beverley (groin) is expected to return on Wednesday. Beverley will likely replace Leandro Bolmaro as the Timberwolves' starting point guard. Malik Beasley should see an uptick in usage again with Russell still out.
Beasley scored 34.5 FanDuel points over 28.0 minutes on Monday. Beverley is averaging 24.5 FanDuel points as a starter this season.
