Kristaps Porzingis (knee) downgraded Friday for Dallas
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
Porzingis was previously listed as questionable. He has been running hot lately, so hopefully the Mavericks are just exercising caution on a back-to-back and Porzingis didn't suffer a setback with his knee issue. Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith stand to benefit on Friday night. Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) is still out, so there could be more minutes for Dwight Powell and Boban Marjanovic as well.
Kleber is averaging 24.6 FanDuel points without Porzingis this season, compared to 17.6 when KP is active. Kleber has a $4,700 salary on Friday's nine-game slate.
