LeBron James enters protocols, out Tuesday for Lakers versus Kings
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (abdominal) has entered health and safety protocols and is out Tuesday versus the Sacramento Kings.
James was expected to play through his abdominal strain again, but now he has league protocols to deal with. The Lakers haven't announced whether James tested positive himself for COVID-19 or if he is in contact tracing. Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis will shoulder more of the offensive load on Tuesday. There should also be additional minutes for Talen Horton-Tucker and Carmelo Anthony.
Westbrook is averaging 46.1 FanDuel points per game when LeBron is inactive this season, compared to 40.8 FanDuel points when they are both in the lineup. Russ has a $9,600 salary on Tuesday's five-game slate.
