Stephen Curry (hip) sitting Friday for Warriors in Detroit
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (hip) will not play Friday against the Detroit Pistons.
The Warriors have ruled out Curry (left hip contusion), Draymond Green (right thigh contusion), Otto Porter (left foot maintenance) and Andre Iguodala (right knee soreness) of the second leg of a back-to-back on Friday. That opens up an enormous amount of opportunity for Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole. Damion Lee is expected to replace Curry in the starting lineup.
Curry is leading the Warriors with a 33.1% usage rate this season. Poole is second (26.0%) and Wiggins is third (25.1%).
