LeBron James (abdominal) may be back Friday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (abdominal strain) might be able to return on Friday against the Boston Celtics, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Woj says there is "growing optimism" that James could return on Friday in Boston. He has missed the past two weeks and the Lakers have gone 3-4 in his absence. Carmelo Anthony will likely return to the second unit once James is back and Talen Horton-Tucker will not have as large of a role on offense. Horton-Tucker scored a career-high 28 points on Monday in his second game of the season. The Lakers' next game is on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
THT is registering a 26.1% usage rate and averaging 1.05 FanDuel points per minute through two games without LeBron. Russell Westbrook is averaging an additional 6.71 FanDuel points in games that LeBron doesn't play this season.
