Wizards hopeful Thomas Bryant (knee) back before January
The Washington Wizards are hopeful center Thomas Bryant will return before January from his ACL rehab, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
What It Means:
The Wizards said back in August that Bryant was aiming for a December return and that seems to still be the expectation. Rui Hachimura (personal) is also progressing toward a return, so the Wizards will have some more bodies in the front court. Montrezl Harrell and Daniel Gafford are the only two true big men currently in Washington's rotation.
Harrell is averaging 34.9 FanDuel points per game while registering a 20.6% usage rate this season. Gafford is averaging 21.7 FanDuel points per game with a 16.7% usage rate.
