Jeremy Lin (back) goes through practice for Hornets

Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lin (back) was able to go through practice on Thursday.

What It Means:

This is a good sign, but Lin said he wouldn't know his status until Friday's morning shootaround. If Lin is unable to play versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, Jorge Gutierrez will see a few minutes as the backup point guard. Jeremy Lamb would see a bump in minutes, as well.

Lin owns a -1.9 nERD, which ranks 91st, in 70 games played this season. He's averaging 11.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while posting a 53.2 True Shooting Percentage. If he's able to play Friday, we project him to score 11.8 points, grab 3.1 boards and dish out 3.0 assists while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor.
