Minnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) will not play in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Russell will miss his second straight game after Minnesota's point guard recently suffered a right ankle injury. Patrick Beverley should see more minutes at the guard positions against a Clippers' unit rated seventh in defensive efficiency utilizing numberFire's power rankings.
Beverley's current projection includes 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.
