Bradley Beal (knee) on track for Wizards opener
Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal said he had an X-ray on his knee that came back negative.
Beal suffered a minor knee injury during last Friday's preseason game, but he returned to practice on Sunday and is expected to be fine for Wednesday's opener against the Toronto Raptors. Beal shot a career-best 48.5% from the field last season and finished second in scoring (31.3 points per game) while adding 4.7 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.2 3-pointers.
Beal's offensive usage rate without Russell Westbrook on the floor last season was 39.9%, which would have been No. 1 in the entire NBA. numberFire's currently expect Beal to win the scoring title this season with 30.7 points per game, but he only has a 14.1 ADP in Yahoo! leagues.
