Elfrid Payton will start in Orlando's clash with Miami
Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton will start versus the Miami Heat on Friday, sending guard Brandon Jennings to the bench.
What It Means:
It apparently took a triple-double to convince Orlando coach Scott Skiles, but Payton will make his way back into the starting lineup after coming off the bench for three games. Jennings has been slowly losing minutes even before the move and is no longer a viable fantasy option.
Payton ranks 126th with a -5.3 nERD. He is averaging 10.5 points, 3.4 boards and 6.0 assists per game while hitting 37 percent of his 3-pointers. Despite being poor, his 45.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage is a career-best clip.
