Arron Afflalo will move back to Knicks' bench
New York Knicks guard Arron Afflalo will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls, with Carmelo Anthony (migraine) back in the starting lineup.
Afflalo had come off the bench for three straight games before Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings. In those three games, he averaged only 11.3 points on less than 40 percent shooting.
Afflalo has had a rough first season in New York with a nERD of -3.4. He is averaging 13.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, but he has improved his efficiency with an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 51.1 percent, his highest sine the 2013-'14 season.
