Norris Cole not expected to play Tuesday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans guard Norris Cole (back) is not expected to play Tuesday against the Miami Heat.
The Pelicans are really banged up tonight, and with Cole out, expect Jrue Holiday and Toney Douglas to see extended minutes at the guard spots. Newly signed Tim Frazier has also been playing well off the bench and could be in line for some good run on Tuesday, as well.
Cole has the 12th worst nERD this season at -6.3 in 45 games played. He's averaging 10.6 points, 3.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game while posting a 46.5 True Shooting Percentage. We currently project Cole to average 10.9 points, 4.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game over the remaining course of the season while shooting just 39.4 percent from the field.
