Gordon Hayward doesn't practice on Wednesday for Jazz
Utah Jazz guard/forward Gordon Hayward (plantar fasciitis) is questionable to play against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.
What It Means:
He did not practice on Wednesday, but that's not a surprise. Hayward will likely not practice as much while his plantar fasciitis is bothering him. We should know more on Thursday morning at shootaround, but Hayward could be missing his second straight game. Rodney Hood looked like a superstar on Monday while Joe Ingles and Chris Johnson played more.
Hayward has been solid this season, posting a 5.4 nERD, which ranks 32nd. He's averaging 20.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while posting a 56.3 True Shooting Percentage. We currently project Hayward to average 19.9 points, 4.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds over the remaining course of the season.
