Nuggets' Jusuf Nurkic (knee) questionable for Tuesday
Denver Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic (sore left knee) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game versus the Orlando Magic.
Nurkic picked up a Did Not Play-Coach's Decision during Monday's loss to the Miami Heat, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him sit out Tuesday's game after experiencing soreness in his surgically repaired left knee. If he's out, there will be more minutes available for Joffrey Lauvergne and Nikola Jokic, with Jokic offering the most upside.
Nurkic has the 87th-best nERD this season at -1.1 and has played just 21 games. He's averaging 6.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game and is posting a 44.0 True Shooting Percentage. We project Nurkic to average 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in eight games over the remaining course of the season while shooting 44.4 percent from the field.
