Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) officially out for Bucks in Game 6
Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (left knee hyperextension) is officially out for Game 6 against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
Antetokounmpo was previously listed as doubtful. He avoided structural damage in his knee and didn't tear any ligaments, but there isn't any sense of when the two-time league MVP might be able to return. Pat Connaughton should play more minutes in place of Antetokounmpo, and there will be larger roles on offense for Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. There will also be more work available for Bobby Portis and Bryn Forbes.
Middleton is leading the Bucks with a 37.1 percent usage rate and Holiday is pacing the team with a 50.7 percent assist rate without Giannis on the floor this postseason. Holiday has a $14,000 salary on Thursday's slate and numberFire's models expect him to lead all players with 48.0 FanDuel points. Middleton has a $14,500 salary on Thursday's slate and our models project him for 46.6 FanDuel points.
