Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose (groin) is now 50-50 to play on Monday versus the Toronto Raptors.
A report on Sunday said Rose was doubtful, so this is seemingly an upgrade to his status. If Rose plays, it will mean less minutes for E'twaun Moore and Aaron Brooks, but it will be good news for Chicago's playoff push over their final 18 games.
Rose has a nERD of -7.6 this season, which ranks him as the fourth-worst player in our metric. His averages of 16.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.9 assists have not been bad this year, but he has a True Shooting Percentage of 48.3 percent, which is the lowest in his career in a season where he has played at least 50 games.
