Hawks' De'Andre Hunter (knee) out for the rest of the season
Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
What It Means:
Hunter has reportedly suffered a new small tear of his lateral meniscus in his right knee and will require season-ending surgery. Hunter received multiple doctor consultations and an MRI after experiencing swelling in his right knee before Game 1 against the 76ers. Solomon Hill has been starting in Hunter's place and could remain in the starting five moving forward.
Hunter is averaging 15.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 24.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
