Matisse Thybulle replacing Joel Embiid (knee) in 76ers' lineup Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers small forward Matisse Thybulle will start in Game 5 on Wednesday versus the Washington Wizards.
Thybulle will replace Joel Embiid (knee) in the starting lineup as the 76ers go with a smaller lineup as they try to eliminate the Wizards for a second time. Ben Simmons will be the de facto starting center, but Dwight Howard should still see a larger role off the bench.
Howard is numberFire's top overall point-per-dollar value on Wednesday's four-game slate. He has a $5,000 salary and our models project him to score 28.5 FanDuel points over 22.6 minutes. In the 21 games that Embiid missed during the regular season, Dwight averaged 26.6 FanDuel points. The Wizards allowed the most FanDuel points per game to the center position during the regular season.
