Pistons sign Darrun Hilliard to three-year deal

The Detroit Pistons have signed second-round pick Darrun Hilliard to a three-year deal.

What It Means:

The Villanova product led the Wildcats with 5.5 win shares and ranked second with a 23.1 Player Efficiency Rating last year. He will look to make such an impact on the Pistons, but will have to compete with Stanley Johnson, Jodie Meeks and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for playing time. We suspect he starts his career in the D-League.
