David Wear scored 13 points on Wednesday in the Kings' 83-67 loss to the Warriors.
Wear shot 4-for-12 including 1-for-6 from behind the three-point line. He committed six turnovers and finished with a plus/minus of -19. He still remains an intriguing player for the Kings and head coach George Karl despite shooting just 17.4% from deep in his five summer league contests.
Last year, the Kings ranked 28th in three-point attempts in the NBA and 16th in Offensive Efficiency, according to our metrics. Wear competed in the 2015 D-League 3-Point Competition and shot 39.4% from three with the uptempo Reno Bighorns, the D-League's fastest team. If Karl implements his high-octane offense from his tenure with the Nuggets, then Wear could be a surprisingly good fit on a team that needs help: Sacramento ranked 25th in our power rankings last year.
