Deandre Ayton (knee) missing first game of season for Suns Thursday
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton will sit Thursday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Ayton is dealing with a sore knee, and he'll be held out for the first time on the year. Look for Frank Kaminsky to potentially slide into a starting role down low.
In 69 plate appearances this season, Ayton has averaged 14.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 blocks and 33.0 FanDuel points.
