Kristaps Porzingis (leg) limited in practice for Knicks
New York Knicks power forward Kristaps Porzingis (leg) was limited in practice on Monday and is questionable to play on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets.
Porzingis did downplay the injury after he was ruled out on Saturday, but it doesn't sound like a minor issue. The Knicks even gave him an X-ray on his leg to check for structural damage from the contusion. Porzingis' owners in weekly leagues might want to bench him, assuming they have anything decent to use in his place. If he's out, it'll be Lance Thomas, Derrick Williams, Kyle O'Quinn and Jerian Grant getting more run.
Porzingis owns a 1.1 nERD, which ranks 60th, in 62 games played this season. He's averaging 14.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.2 assists per game while posting a 52.1 True Shooting Percentage. We project Porzingis to average 13.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 assists per game over the remaining course of the season.
