Woj: Deni Avdija (ankle) to miss rest of season for Washington
Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured ankle, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Avdija left Wednesday's game early after landing on his ankle in a very awkward manner. And it seems as though the worst has indeed happened - he has a fracture in his ankle. Davis Bertans could be elevated into a starting role in Avdija's absence going forward.
In 53 games this season coming into the day, Avdija averaged 6.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 15.9 FanDuel points.
