Grayson Allen (hip) ruled out for Grizzlies Wednesday versus Jazz
Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Grayson Allen (hip) will not play Wednesday against the Utah Jazz, per head coach Taylor Jenkins.
Allen took an early hit to the hip during Monday's game that caused him to leave and not return. Desmond Bane and De'Anthony Melton are candidates to replace Allen in the starting lineup and there could also be additional minutes for John Konchar.
Melton has a salary of $4,100 and Bane has a salary of $3,600 on Wednesday's 10-game slate. They will have a tough draw against a Jazz team that is allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to the shooting guard position this season.
