Wayne Ellington (calf) ruled out for Detroit Wednesday
Detroit Pistons guard Wayne Ellington will not play Wednesday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Ellington returned last Friday to the team, and he rejoined the starting five in his first game back. However, the veteran has picked up a calf injury, and after being listed as doubtful coming into the day, he'll indeed sit out. Frank Jackson could be called upon to take Ellington's spot in the lineup.
In 34 games this season, Ellington has averaged 10.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 15.6 FanDuel points.
