Evan Fournier (protocols) cleared for Celtics debut Monday
Boston Celtics guard/forward Evan Fournier (health and safety protocols) will make his Celtics debut Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Fournier could wind up starting in his first game with the team since Jaylen Brown is out with a hip injury. He may not be able to maintain his season average of 24.7 points per game in Boston, but Fournier should still see a meaningful role in the rotation. Aaron Nesmith and Grant Williams could lose playing time now that Fournier is available.
numberFire’s models project Fournier for 27.2 minutes and 27.7 FanDuel points versus the Pelicans. He has a salary of $6,200 on Monday’s 11-game slate.
