Kemba Walker resting for Celtics Monday in back-to-back

Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker (rest) will not play on Monday versus the Memphis Grizzlies.

What It Means:

Walker will take a seat for the second leg of the Celtics' back-to-back and Tristan Thompson will also remain out due to the league's health and safety protocols. Marcus Smart will take on additional ball-handling responsibilities Monday and there should be more minutes for Payton Pritchard and Jeff Teague, even if Semi Ojeleye draws the start.

Smart is numberFire's sixth-best overall value on Monday's eight-game slate. He has a salary of $5,000 and our models project Smart for 31.0 FanDuel points versus Memphis. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Celtics-Grizzlies game has the lowest over/under (220.0 points) on Monday.
