LeBron James (ankle) reportedly out for Lakers multiple weeks
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (high right ankle sprain) is expected to miss several weeks, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
High ankle sprains typically cost players multiple weeks, and while James tends to heal faster than most, the Lakers are likely going to take a conservative approach with the 36-year-old's return to the court. Talen Horton-Tucker, in addition to Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder, will have more opportunities on offense with James and Anthony Davis (calf) both unavailable.
THT is averaging 27.0 FanDuel points in 24.4 minutes over the last five games with 14.4 points, 4.6 boards, and 4.6 assists. He leads the Lakers with a 28.2 usage percentage when LeBron and AD are off the floor, an increase of 6.1 percent that is also a team-high.
