Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) still out for Grizzlies multiple weeks
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) will be updated "later this month or early next month," a team source tells Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian.
The team source insists that Jackson is still "fully expected to play this season." Jackson hasn't played all season after undergoing left knee surgery. The Grizzlies will continue to lean more on Kyle Anderson, Brandon Clarke, and Xavier Tillman until Jackson returns. Their first game after the break is on Friday versus the Denver Nuggets.
Jackson averaged 36.9 FanDuel points over three games in the bubble with 25.3 points, 1.3 steals, 1.7 blocks, and 3.3 3-pointers per contest. He shot 39.4 percent from beyond the arc last year on 6.5 attempts per game and finished top-10 in block percentage for a second consecutive season.
